Purpose:
The awards $15,000 to California college sophomores or juniors to fund student-generated public service projects.
Eligibility:
In order to be eligible, a student must:
- be currently enrolled at Â鶹ÊÓƵas a sophomore or junior
- have a GPA in the upper 1/3 of their class
- have the desire to "make a difference" in local, regional, national or international communities
Â鶹ÊÓƵApplication Process:
New this cycle - Strauss has revamped their process so that an unlimited amount of students can apply directly to them (instead of being nominated by Oxy). Â鶹ÊÓƵapplicants can now apply directly for the Strauss Scholarship through their online application portal. The application process and requirements can be found .
