Student Voices is a blog where current students write about various experiences including academics, sports, student groups, study abroad, and other extracurricular activities. Hear what our students have to say!

One of the things I have to mention every time I talk to people about my school is the food here.

Just like that, it is already that time of semester again! This being my first blog of the year, it is surreal to think that the second half of the fall semester is already well underway. As a sophomore, this means thinking about what major I want to declare and narrowing down the scope of classes that I need to sign up for.

I am studying abroad in Amsterdam this semester in the SIT program Netherlands: International Perspectives on Sexuality and Gender.

This past summer, I had an internship that involved managing the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society sector for the company I worked for.

As an Occidental student, I am proud to say I love the food on campus.

I am back on campus and drowning in Comps preparations and midterms, and I can't help but look back on one of best summers of my life. This summer, I interned in the House Democratic Caucus on Capitol Hill, which serves every Democratic Member of the U.S. House of Representatives.
