Update regarding the U.S. Department of Education's final Title IX regulations.
On April 19, the U.S. Department of Education released its long-awaited final instructing colleges and universities how to respond to reports of sexual misconduct and sex-based harassment and discrimination. Â鶹ÊÓƵis now required to revise its Sexual and Interpersonal Misconduct Policy to comply with the regulations by August 1, 2024. The Civil Rights & Title IX Office intends to seek input from the Â鶹ÊÓƵcommunity this summer and will share updates and implementation plans widely. In the meantime, our current policies and procedures remain in effect.
